Got my bike back yesterday. Started up first try at the shop, everything was looking good. Hoped on and happily (happy to have bike not happy with the money i just paid to get it "fixed") rode away in the misty rain filled night. Not even a block away I noticed my blinkers wernt working. Then, the left started working but the right front blinker was still out. Not sweating it to heavy i made it home and let it sit for the night. Woke up and decided i wanted to ride to class. Put on all my gear and pulled the bike out. Went to start (electric start) and it sounded like the engine wanted to turn over but quickly turned into useless attempts of pushing the start button and listen to the starter weaken more every try. Resorted to try a kick start, sounding a little more promissing with the choke on i got the engine to very briefly turn over then completely die. Very frustrated i wheeled the bike back in the garage and sat on it for a min. Leaning on the gas tank a little with the power on i set of the horn. Yes very confusing. Went online to read up on some forums and concluded the mechanics at sunrise cycles shorted my fucking wires. Now i have to remove my gas tank and find out what the hell is exactly being shorted. Dealing with this bad boy..

Fall shopping has begun

Found a dope ass Woolrich long coat w/hood at the thrift store for $15. It has large cargo button pockets on the front with hidden pockets behind them plus inside pockets lined in a really nice red and brown plaid.

Found some really cheap desert boot nock-offs at walmart for 3 dollars.. but none in my size, kind of bummed. Need more winter boots other than black.

Deus Bali

Deus Canggu, a new custom bike shop in Bali, recently completed one of their first builds, naming the bike Inari after the Shinto spirit of fertility and success. Based off the 1976 Honda CB 100 and stripped down to the simple mechanics, it's an agile motorcycle that handles the Indonesian island's volcanic terrain well.

MY first bike

So I finally bought me a motorcycle.
It is a 1977 KZ650 and basically 99% original and only 13k miles on it with no rust hardly anything cosmetically wrong and runs very strong!!

It was repainted to look like the original dark green model so it looks brand new.

I plan to slowely turn into a cafe racer. First purchase will be new bars.
